Lesson 3

Every day we have about 100.000 thoughts. Some are true and some are nonsense.

Remember that thoughts are just thoughts. They are not always facts. You can choose what you do with the thoughts that enter your mind.

The mindfulness exercise in the “Mindful Eating” module shows you how you can become an observer of thoughts and how you can let them go.

This is really important, as for so long you might have believed your thoughts and you might not have known that you have a choice and change your thoughts to be more helpful.

In the following document, you will find lots of examples of unhelpful/sabotaging thoughts and alternative thoughts.

I recommend you get yourself a deck of small index cards, or an app that has index cards, and write down your very own sabotaging thoughts, and also the alternative – more helpful thought.

Read those index cards every day. You are reprogramming your mind!
